FOX "News"--as was completely expected--trotted out 2010 laughing stock, Christine O'Donnell on Wednesday. She's got a book to sell, so hopefully she'll go away soon. But don't be surprised to see FOX turn her into the latest political celebrity. And if they do, they've got their audience already prepared to defend her every statement, and claim that the lame stream media is baselessly attacking her.
It's quite a built-in defense. Anything that [insert pretty, but batshit crazy, female political celebrity name here] says or does--no matter how off the charts loony--will be "out of context" or an "ad hominem attack." Every jab at her counter intuitively making her stronger. Oh, but we're getting ahead of ourselves. For now, O'Donnell is just attacking the organization that attacked her. Baselessly, I'm sure.
